A Professional Learning Community is:

A PLC is working with others for success!

A Professional Learning Community works with a common vision and sharp focus and with leadership that listens and steers the work effectively for all.  A Professional Learning Community is outcomes oriented, sets a goal and reaches that goal.  Is working with others hard?  It’s probably the hardest task we do, because we have to be able to learn from others, treat others with respect, and make decisions aligned with the goal. When a Professional Learning Community is successful in process and outcomes, it’s a win for all.  The path may be winding and bumpy, there may be tough going along the way, but if the outcome is achieved, it’s well worth the effort!
